Now what’s wrong with KY Jelly? Which one is it, using it or mentioning it in the story? For using it, I think the guy actually demonstrated consideration. For mentioning it,I guess you could find the type of descriptions which meet your requests at the paper back section in grocery stores. They furnish all the clichés, but KY Jelly is never mentioned and no one ever gets even sweaty!
The KY worked great. It's gentle and water based. The tampon slid in so far I had to pull it back out slightly to remove the applicator, then pushed it back in with my finger until only a little bit of string was hanging out. Next time I use a little less KY, but this looks like it worked.

I'm pleased that you mentioned that some people don't need lubrication, after experience. I didn't know that until I met my SO. Phenomenal without it. I don't like KY jelly, however. IMO, it's too sticky. PUR is good. Well written piece. Good luck in the contest. ~Minx
KY Jelly only comes in a tube, not in a bottle. OTHER lubes under the KY 'brand' do come in bottles, but they are water-based liquids, not a jelly.
(typed while laughing), If you get nothing else accurate in your Lit stories, you better, by gawd, get your lube facts right!
Enjoying your tale, I hope the fact you haven't changed your bio since '12 and the pleadings to finish your works doesn't mean I'm going to get to Ch 16 of what is shaping up to be an epic adventure only to find it has no conclusion. (doesn't mean I'm going to stop reading, I'm just going to say bad things about you, and go research old Romanian curses.)
