So the part about drugging the kids, remember the affair has been going on for about a year. Go look up the prolonged effects of using Benadryl. Not fries your liver sort of thing but definitely something the kids should not be subjected to. She got off way too easy. There should be criminal charges for this and the grandfather should be charged as an accessory.

Yes, I know that the author wanted the dramatic confrontation, but in real world, John has a parental duty to protect the children and prevent further drugging of the children, especially since the story suggests that wife is giving larger doses of Benadryl in order to keep them knocked out. And why doesn't he report her to the police? Why does he not prohibit any contact with the slut? She is a danger to them and even in hell-holes like the Caifornia courts, most judges would issue either a no contact order or at the least, supervised visits. So, shocking premise that is pretty well done but husband is way too nice to the slut.

I’m going over this and there are a few items. She cannot have loved him, not with literally having to have him date raped by her “best friend”! Another thing is thank goodness that she only gave him half a dose of ghb. As it is usually cooked up in a kitchen as opposed to a lab, you really can’t tell just what a half dose is. Now Percocet comes in two doses, 5mg & 10mg. Combined with ghb it can very quickly become a lethal dose by causing respiratory distress and heart palpitations which if they get too bad can and will kill you! The wife, her friend & her friends husband should all go to jail! Shame that nobody in the restaurant noticed his behavior and thought to alert emergency services. I'd hope a judge or some child protective services would have prevented visitation over the wife's Benadryl babysitting habit until see completed some humiliating counselling.
The father, he got no consequences out of this really. He only ran away like a coward and lost some money. Should have at least had him cut off by his friends or had some of them kick his ass when they suspected or found out he was fucking one of their wives.

That's a very dangerous path the story is going. I think the couple is doomed. Even after just 3 days of having H and other highly addictive drugs Emily will be seriously addicted to the high and her brain will do almost anything to get the endorphines again and again. She will deny herself sleep, eat and drink to get this combination of the rush of the drug and the even higher endorphine rush of the triggered orgasm while injected. At the end of this chapter it was mentioned that, at the first time, she was given 10mg of H and after only a couple of days she gets 400mg a day. After the scene on the street it was mentioned that a dose of 25mg had been the highest given until that time. Even at 25mg each shot that would be 16 shots of H a day or one shot every 90min. Please reconsider this in the next chapters or the Story will lose the last bit of reality that is left.
