I've been having issues with heartburn for maybe 1 year now and recently started on omeprazole as suggested by my doc. my biggest problem currently is excessive burping and belching. I constantly have to burp through the whole day no matter what I eat. And I occasionally get wet burps, although a lot less since I started on the omeprazole.
